barefoot-contessa

Ulterior motive: 1.  When your husband buys you not one, but two new cook books you’d been wanting so that you’ll make Ina Garten’s easy cheese danish recipe and even offers to run to the store for the ingredients.

I love the barefoot contessa. I want to be her neighbor so she can bring me random dishes of kindness. she’s like the ultimate queen of comfort hostess.

I’ve been eyeballing her books myself. Let us know which recipes you try…and I’ll try not to drool on my keyboard. LOL

Oh, I love her too! I just got “Back to Basics”. Watching her show is so relaxing. I love her kitchen, too!

Forgot to also say that I wish I had a garden like hers, where I could just go out back and snip off any herb I needed for cooking!

You know if you ever want to see how the cheese danish fares in the mail…

I’m sure your family will be blessed by the many wonderful new dishes you’ll prepare from these two cookbooks. Everything she makes on her show looks so delicious!
