I’m Seeing A Pattern

by Everyday Mommy on March 3, 2009

I quizzed Johnny using this questionnaire, to see how well he knows his mom.  I think I’m seeing a pattern here…as in, the world revolves around a boy named Johnny! Ahem.  My commentary is in red.

1. What is something mom always says to you?

I love you.  True, true.

2. What makes mom happy?

Me!  Most of the time.

3. What makes mom sad?

When I’m not with you.  Hmm…is there a pattern emerging?

4. How does your mom make you laugh?

When she says funny things like, “The windmills are fogging! The windmills are fogging!”  You had to have been there.

5. What did your mom like to do when she was a child?

I don’t know.  Play?  Is there a distinct lack of interest in mom here?

6. How old is your mom?

56?  Oh, good heavens!

7. How tall is your mom?

Almost as tall as I am.  Actually, this isn’t that far from true.

8. What is her favorite thing to watch on TV?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.  He shoots…he scores!

9. What does your mom do when you’re not around?

Wait for me to come back.   I see.  Mom’s just hangin’ around on a meat hook, waiting for me to take my next breath.

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

Me!  Yeah…I’ll be like Abraham Lincoln’s mom.  What’s her name?  Abraham Lincoln’s mom.

11. What is your mom really good at?

Cooking!  That’s all I do.  Cook.

12. What is your mom not very good at?

Tanks.  The Wii game.  She’s great at bowling though.

13. What does your mom do for her job?

Fix the blogs.  I try.

14. What is your mom’s favorite food?

Ravioli?  I have no idea where this answer came from.

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

She loves me.   The pattern emerges once again.

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Dexter’s mom.  I do not wear Playtex gloves 24/7.

17. What do you and your mom do together?

Play camping.  Yes, we play camping under the dining room table.

18. How are you and your mom the same?

We look the same…almost.  He’s much cuter than I am.

19. How are you and your mom different?

One is a boy and one is a girl.  Apparently, I’m a “girl”.  A 56 year-old girl.

20. What does your mom like most about your dad?

He helps her and he is funny.  And, a few other reasons, too.

21. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?

Home.  I need to get out more.

Try this with your kids and post the results.  Be sure to leave a link in my comments so we can all enjoy a chuckle or two.

Ha! Love it. Another of my friends did this and for favorite place to go one of her kids said “Florida” and the other said “JC Penney” which for some reason sent me into a fit of laugher. So funny.

LOL This was fantastic! I’m going to have to try this on my 5 year old. I can only imagine what he’ll come up with, but I’m pretty sure that the world revolves around him as well. :-)

This entire post cracked me up! I’ll do it, but I’m scared of the results that I’ll get from my kids. (I don’t even what to know how old they THINK I am!)
