Fill My Cup

by Everyday Mommy on November 6, 2009

bigredmugI enjoy early morning blog reading with a cup of my favorite coffee, sunlight sneaking in through the wood blinds and soft, old slippers on my feet.  Morning affords a bit of quiet, something which is often sparse.  So, I thought I’d share some of the things I’ve read during the week which filled my cup.

A Complete Thought shares some thoughts on GPS units.

Kevin DeYoung explains why Prayerlessness is UnbeliefDo not miss this post.

The Sacred Sandwich brings us a righteous chuckle.

The Reformed Evangelist asks, “Was Jesus A Calvinist?”

Phil Johnson soars way over my head when he analyzes A Most Ingenious Paradox.

– and –

Dan Phillips’ intolerance is on display when he discusses how “Our glandocentric, relativistic, pomo culture focuses exclusively on feeling,” in Homosexuals (Among Others) Cannot Love.  I’m in complete agreement with him, so I suppose I’m also intolerant.

It’s okay, Jules, apparently, I’m intolerant as well. And, I don’t know where I’ve been hiding recently, but I just discovered Kevin DeYoung…Wow! His books are now very high on my wishlist.
