The Gift of Healing?

One of the most dangerous and most damaging false teachings today involves those who claim the name of Christ and also claim to have “the gift of healing”. So many believers have been irreparably harmed by those who teach the lie that healing is guaranteed for believers in the atonement, and that if one is ill they “lack faith” or have “unconfessed sin” in their life.

What does the Scripture really teach about healing?

I don’t understand where you are coming from with this. The gift of healing is unscriptural?!

“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. …for to one is given… gifts of healings…” 1 Corinthians 12:4-9.

How can this be a dangerous doctrine?
