Dangerous Moments in Food

by Everyday Mommy on September 4, 2010

This dangerous moment in food was found at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Legends shops at Village West in Kansas City, Kansas.  As a 40 plus year foodie I was alert to the inherent danger of a Twinkie© covered in chocolate.

Have you captured a dangerous moment in food?  Send me your photos at jules at Everyday Mommy dot net.

Bemoaning Legalities and Railing Against Pharisees

September 3, 2010

Whenever I post about a controversial topic, as I frequently do, inevitably I read a host of posts or tweets or Facebook commentaries which address it in a nondescript manner.  Take homeschooling.  The most common response from parents who choose public education over home education is that it is a disputable matter.  They then proceed [...]

School – A Disputable Matter?

September 1, 2010

I’ve had the challenge of attempting to engage some Christian parents recently on the topic of schooling.  Homeschool or public school?  In these discussions I’ve noticed a few commonalities, first and most often used is liberty.  Each Christian parent I know who chooses to place their children in the public schools claims that this area [...]

Lets Just Be Honest

August 31, 2010

I’d like to take an informal poll and I’d love to hear especially from parents who’ve made the change from public schools to homeschooling.  My question is… What were  your reasons for not homeschooling your children? Please be openly, even brutally honest.  Share truthfully, why you placed your children in public schools. Share and Enjoy:

Cracking Up…

August 27, 2010

This commercial cracks me up every time I see it.  From the living room decor’ to the Lutheran pastors face (he has to be Lutheran) to the way the neighborly lady hides behind the porch railing to the message on the cheese platter. Share and Enjoy:
