When I first heard about granite tiles as an alternative to granite slabs, I was a little skeptical about it. I knew what I wanted and even though I could save me some money, I always thought that it would not be the same. I been wanting to replace my kitchen countertops with granite countertops for the last 5 years and since I know they would be expensive, I have been saving for the last three years in order to get exactly what I want.  I had heard of the cheaper alternative before, but it seemed so affordable and easy to install, that it felt like it was too good to be truth. About a week ago I was at my best friend’s house, who replaced her kitchen countertops the month before, and while I was explaining to her my dilemma, she looked at me and said “I have a little secret I have not told you yet” She than proceeded to show me that her new countertops were tiles. I was very surprised! If she had not told I would have never noticed. I liked how they looked so much, that I am online right now ordering my own and I cannot wait until they are in my kitchen!
